Today I was watching Dance India Dance on ZEE tv. There was a dance act by couple on one of my favorite song – “soneyo”. The thing that touched me in the act was that the girl danced only on one leg and the guy had a hand tied. At the end of the act the dancer made a statement that really made me think. He said – people in the world have different kind of hunger. Hunger for money, hunger for respect, hunger for fame but above all is the hunger for LOVE.
This was so true and I have felt it so many times in life. There have been times when I forget to eat or do anything else and all that I expect is to be in company of someone loved.
It reminded me of my experience of Divya Disha the orphanage that I go to every now and then. The kids there have always shown interest in not what you have got for them but how much time are you going to spend with them. Every time we parted they have always asked about when I would come next rather than what I would be getting next time.
Then again if this was true how is that we still find time to hate others, ignore the loved once and take them for granted. If LOVE is what we all need, and we know that everyone around us needs it then why is that we forget to give it every time we get a chance and we just wait for occasions to show that we love.
This might not be true for everyone but if it is shouldn’t we start cherishing every moment of our life with our loved once and satisfy this hunger of LOVE. And once we are full…..we can start sharing it with those who need it.
This is nice..
ReplyDeleteYes i agree with you:
We should start cherishing every moment of our life with our loved ones and satisfy this hunger of LOVE. And once we are full…..we can start sharing it with those who need it.

You are a person who believes in both experiencing and giving love to others. Love as such has varied dimensions.
Lets not break our head in satisfying our 'hunger for love'...LETS TRY TO GIVE IT TO OTHERS WHO ARE NEAR AND DEAR TO US!!
